"Modern Techniques and Basic Standards in Conservative Scoliosis Management” (I)
A one and a half day introductory course for all professionals from the medical, physiotherapy and orthopedic technical field seeking training in conservative scoliosis management. The biomechanical basis is set within this course and the participants will gain a deep view on the "Best Practice" treatment, too. The measurement of Cobb angles is practiced as well as the ATR (Scoliometer) measurement. Exercises combining the methods of physio-logic ®, 3D-corrected activities of daily living (ADL) and Katharina Schroth ® are introduced as are the braces built on the actual standard.

"Modern Techniques and Basic Standards in Conservative Scoliosis Management” (OT)
This is a 2 day course (following the I-course) for orthopedic technicians to acquire basic knowledge about biomechanics, prognosis, functional diagnosis, pattern identification, X-ray evaluation with Cobb measurement, Perdriolle or Raimondi measurement of vertebral rotation, problem solving in brace treatment and the acquisition of psychological skills. The main aim of the course is to identify key patterns and to learn strategies to adjust braces precisely. Additionally the attendees will learn how to document the patient data on the QM-section of the homepage provided.

Before certification applicants have to pass a multiple choice examination. (Courses OT & PHY)
